CU just signed an extension with Nike yesterday, which is not really that newsworthy by itself, but I just imagine to myself when I read something like this about the unbelievable amounts of backlash that the school is probably getting back in Boulder. You know, basically most really large scale football programs have some sort of deal like this, but the people in Boulder HATE Nike so much (and corporate sponsorships/tie-ins in general, not to mention the whole Nike sweatshop thing). I’m not saying they are unjustified, but honestly, go buffs, everyone else does it, lets compete, lets win some games.
